Cellier des Templiers cuvée Ancestral 2006 (AOC Banyuls Grand Cru)

The culture and legacy of the Order of the Knights Templar is still very present in France. There are 3 large focus there: north, Burgundy and Languedoc. On the sunny shores of Languedoc-Rousillon there is not only the Templar heritage but also another equally or even more important old icon: VDN (sweet natural wine). From Banyuls (Templar Winery) comes an old cuvée that will delight women and lovers of cheese and foie.

A Muscat- Grenache blanc- Malvoisie with an old gold color showing the evolution over 6 years in old foudres. Dense tears as in the Banyuls. Exquisitely complex nose with roasted white stone fruit, cocoa, coffee, chocolate notes on a fine iodized background. Semi-sweet and wide entry into the mouth. Sweet development, of great richness and density typical of the Banyuls. Mouthfeel aromas of fruit preserve, caramel, candied citrus, white chocolate and spice.

This cuvée is ideal to end a meal with friends or family. You always have to put a sweet spot that makes everyone happy. This cuvée is valued at 15 euros according to an online sales web. As a glamorous pairing a Carrot and sea buckthorn mousse rosemary whipped cream, dehydrated lime cake, carrot gel, cedar gel, fried rosemary, gin granita, carrot sugar. As pornfood match simply a black chocolate coulant.
