Quinta d'Amares Loureiro (DOC Vinho Verde): the most monastic and fresh Portugal in your glass

Quinta d'Amares is located in Cávados subregion, ('Green Wine' region). The vineyards are around a monastery of XVIII century where are cultivate varieties like Arinto, Trajadura, Alvarinho or Loureiro (like this 1oo % Loureiro).

2015 vintage: Yellow-strawy colour with bubbles pouring into glass. Nose with peach mainly, also it intuits traces of CO2, pear or apple. Very light mouth, with presence of CO2 and hints of lemon. Only 11 % of alcohol at the end and set a white wine that seems soda.

It is an economical choice thanks to its 2'89 euros. Before make a hard criticism it's necessary remember that this is a Vinho Verde and is normal its lightness and deficiency of alcohol in these white wines. You can drink in any occasion to soda mode.
