It
is a coupage
of Malvasia Fina
(mainly),
Encruzado, Bical and Fernão
Pires.
All
these grapes come from a poor granitic soils
where the
Atlantic winds are stopped by
the mountains of Buçaco,
Estrela,
Caramulo,
Nave
and Montemuro.
This is Dão wine region.
Golden
yellow colour without defects. Not very perfumed nose but with
exquisite aromas of apple, meadow, flint or white flowers like orange
blossom. Lighter, fruity and mineral mouth,
though there are hints of citrus. Acidity that is accentuated every
drink but always controlled. Warm finish where appear the 13'5% but
with a short persistence.
