Domaine Jean Grivot cuvée La Combe d’Orveau 2018 (AOC Chambolle-Musigny)

Jean Grivot is a French winemaker from the Burgundy region and one of the most renowned wine producers from the Côte de Nuits sub-region. He is the owner of two top burgundian domains: Domaine Jean Grivot and Domaine Robert Chevillon, where he creates some of the most renowned and red Burgundy wines.

A Pinot Noir of medium opacity and a beginning of evolution having uncorked four years after its harvest. Complex nose around truffle, cocoa, undergrowth or flowers notes. An entry into of a timid roundness. Very fruity, delicate and silky development. To emphasize the fineness, the class, the typical elegance of the Chambolle-Musigny style. Very complete. A so feminine and easy to drink juicy fruit, also with a little freshness

A village-type Burgundy valued at 139 euros by wine_searcher.com, which is the norm for this type of 'communal' wine. The Orveau highlands reflect in this vintage a limestone capable of put an enormous elegance and glamour. We repeat: a very complete Black Pinot. As pairing we could propose a Braised french pork cheeks, coarsed meat stock and Málaga sweet wine.
